We are a family run guest house in a Victorian terraced house on Coronation Road next to the river Avon, very close to Bristol city centre.
We (Greg and Amy) and our young family have run the guest house for 13 years and have improved the property over that time. We have refurbished and redecorated all the rooms and have a guest house we are proud of.
We pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable, value for money, budget accommodation close to the city centre. The room facilities are listed on our rooms page.
We provide a self-service basic breakfast (with a variety of teas and coffee (including espresso from our coffee machine), toast, cereal, brioche, yogurts and fruit). There is no cooked breakfast available, but most people are very happy and it is included in the price. There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants near us who offer wonderful cooked breakfasts and other food.
Having 3 children of our own we welcome children.
We cater for a wide variety of people including tourists coming to Bristol for a holiday, people visiting friends and family in the area, those heading out for the night in Bristol, people using Bristol airport and contractors looking for short or long-term stays.
The guest house is strictly non-smoking.
We do not have a 24 hour reception. We operate a code/keysafe entry system over a weekend and during the week if we are not going to be here or you are arriving late. This avoids having to tie our guests down to a certain arrival time which often changes due to transport delays and other issues. We will let you have the necessary entry information and codes by e-mail directly or through Booking.com and by text to the mobile number you provide. Please ensure you check your e-mails and texts and that you give us the correct mobile number.
You will need to obtain the entry information and codes from us otherwise it will be tricky for you to get in if we are not here.
We do not allow animals to stay and we do not take stag nights, hen nights or other group bookings of this nature. We have, unfortunately, had too many problems with these groups and have had to take the decision to stop taking bookings from them. If you do book as such a group but do not let us know, we reserve the right to turn you away when you arrive.
We are generally around but are not always here. However, you can contact us if you need anything by ringing the intercom doorbell at the front of the house.
The Wi-Fi is provided free of charge and is complimentary. We make every effort to ensure it is providing a good service. However, we cannot guarantee 100% Wi-Fi access at all times. Generally the Wi-Fi service is very good.
The photos show a selection of rooms and are to show the general standard and style. The room you have may not be one shown in the pictures but it will be of the same standard and style.
When you make a booking you provide us with some of your personal details (mainly your name, mobile number and card details either through Booking.com or directly). We hold some of these details in order to record your booking, to take payment and to contact you regarding your booking. We hold these in a safe and secure way complying with the requirements of the data protection legislation and the Barclaycard compliance regulations. We do not share your personal details with anyone. If you require more information regarding what personal details we hold, why we hold them and when and how we destroy them please do let us know. Also if you wish to see a copy of our Information Security and Data Protection Policies then please also let us know and we can send them to you.
